VISION
Young Focus International's goal is the improvement of the mental and social development of young people living in poor communities - through education.
Teams
Young Focus is a Dutch organization made up of volunteers with a vision to help the poorest and most underprivileged children. Young Focus gives children the chance to escape the vicious circle of poverty.
The Filipino branch is called Young Focus for Education and Development Inc. They put the vision into action as a team of 10 Filipino full-timers, supported by volunteers from Holland and the Philippines.
UN Millennium Development Goals
Implementing the vision means that Young Focus is also contributing towards the first two of the UN Millennium Development Goals for 2015: universal education and ending poverty and hunger.

Foundation
Young Focus is founded on Christian principles and values. In the matter of education for young people, Young Focus believes that their talents and gifts are from God and our role is to give them the opportunity to develop these.
When 'our' sponsored young people are given the chance to develop their talents and gifts, they then also have the responsibility to use these to help others.
